It is illustrated by photographs taken on the Stevenson Walk (GR70) in the Cevennes and on various walks in Switzerland, especially the TransSwiss Trail that runs from Porrentruy in the west, over the St. Gotthard Pass, to Lugano in Tessin in the South-East of Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>There is nothing like walking to get the feel of a country. A fine landscape is like a piece of music; it must be taken at the right tempo.
