On reaching 75 years old I decided that it was time to hang up my boots as it were and retire from writing articles for On Landscape magazine (this last is the 30th I have written since 2017). That allowed me the opportunity to reflect a bit on current photographic practice and its relationship to concerns about sustainability and the environment. The article is called “Technological advances and evolutionary adaptation, or why it is all about harmony (for me)”. It can be found at the On Landscape site [here]. It includes some visual haiku images taken from The River as Haiku book that can be previewed on Blurb [here]
